"...Mody does some work with the pedals on a subliminal conversations with Mullan’s tenor on “ Reconciling Loss.” Uchida’s delicate cymbals turn to assertive drums along with Charshee’s piano on “Weaving Our Future From Our Past” before Lenis’ bass leads the way for the thoughtful “Forever July.” Everyone gets a chance in the spotlight, with each tune ranging between just under 10 minutes to over 15. Much of the time, the songs feel like musical guideposts to higher paths."
